APARTMENT
Spectacular views
The spacious open plan living, dining, kitchen area plus two doors opening onto the terrace with spectacular views. To the south there is the Sierra de Lujar and the mediterranean
sea and on a clear day (usually in winter light) you can see
silhouette of Rif mountains in Africa. When it is particularly clear you can even see the silhouette of mountains of northern Morocco. To the north is the Sierra Nevada and from the terrace you will be able to see many of the peaks including the second highest mountain at nearly 3400m, Veleta (see Wikipedia)
Traditional Alpujarran Architecture
It is a comfortable two bedroom traditional Alpujarran building on one floor and is situated at the southern end of Bubión.
Well Equipped Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped and has a gas hob, grill, microwave oven, large fridge/freezer and washing machine. There are plenty of plates, bowls, pans, glasses, cups, cutlery etc. available for your use.
For a small fee we will be happy to stock the fridge with essentials for your arrival - just let us know what you require a few days in advance.
No pets allowed out of respect for visitors with animal hair etc intolerance.
Two Bedrooms
Our comfortable apartment has two bedrooms – one double and one double or twin. Both have plenty of wardrobe space. Linen, including towels (but not pool/beach towels) is all provided. The bathroom has a bath with shower overhead, wash basin and WC.
Pool
The holiday apartment also benefits from the SHARED use of a beautiful swimming pool and patio for sun bathing.
The pool is open from mid June to mid September. However, please be aware that following the pandemic, access times to pool are decided by management committee before the pool opens each year.
Log Fire
There is a very efficient wood burning stove in the lounge along with central heating for the winter months. Wood for the fire can be purchased locally (at the supermarket, for instance). For your safety, the apartment is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and there is a fire extinguisher in place.
Casa Rosa is available to rent as a holiday apartment throughout the year.
